EMRO Pre-Med/Pre-Health Workshop 7PM TUESDAY Feb12 League Room A.

Hi EMRO members,

The Pre-Med/Pre-Health Workshop has been scheduled for next Tuesday, February 12 at 7-8pm in the League Room A.  At this workshop, you will be free to ask any questions you may have about the pre-med or pre-health curriculum (non academic) in order to be the best applicant possible.  Career Center representative Mariella Mecozzi will be presenting briefly, followed by a question-answer session.  She will not speak about what classes to take what semester, or about the academic curriculum, as that is not her specialty (she is not an academic advisor).  However, she will speak about anything else.  Last semester, questions arose about being an pre-med engineer, how to go about writing a resume, how many letters of recommendation are needed and how to ask teachers for them, extra-curricular activities, questions about research, and what questions could be asked at a medical school interview.  You will have the chance to ask many general questions as well as personal questions.

This is a great opportunity!  If you plan on attending, please email annielm@umich.edu.

Thanks,

Annie Layno-Moses
